Following Through

Well I am very excited to say that everything is working out. We put an offer in on a house in White House about a week ago and they accepted. I just got off the phone this morning with our current landlord, whom we rent from, to give him our 30 notice. As of right now the closing date is November 9th. So we should be moving by the weekend of the 14th! I am very excited and at the same time very nervous. I'll be fine as long as everything runs as smoothly as it has been.

*OUR NEW HOME*

This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, super cute first home. It has hardwood floors through out. I love the landscaping and the 3 decks off the back of the house. It'll be great for entertaining which I love to do!

I will be adding more pictures once we move in and do alittle painting.

Our Plan

We have been on the hunt for better things in life. We have finally devised a plan in order to make a change happen. Hopefully by the new year we will be proud owners of a house and have 3 cars with no car payment. We are currently looking for homes in the Greenbrier, Hendersonville, and White House area. My husband and I have already fallen in love with a house in Greenbrier. We have drove by to see it and have seen lots of pics but will not get to see it for a few days. Hopefully the inside is as great as it seems and all the paperwork will go through smoothly. I am very excited about this and nervous at the same time. Buying a house is a huge commitment. Change, even when good, is very hard and overwhelming for me.

Changes and Choices

As a mother and a wife I want to be able to provide more for my family. I want to contribute to paying the bills and still have all the time in the world for my kids. On Monday I had a job interview and was hired to start in one week. I was super excited that I was going to be bringing home a 40 hour a week check. I hadn't had a full time job in over 6 years. That was pre-kids. The more everything sunk in I started to become very overwhelmed. I needed to find a sitter for Brayden for 2 1/2 weeks, get a physical, take the kids to get their yearly check ups, register Brayden for school, find an after school daycare for Brayden, fill out a ton of paper work, work Tuesday and Wednesday at Mothers Day Out, and 2 hours of orientation at the new job. All of this needed to be done by Friday. The more I thought about everything that was about to change really terrified me. The biggest thought that really weighed me down was thinking of next summer and not being able to spend time with my boys at the lake, pool, park or with friends. The thought of them sitting in a daycare from 8-6 Monday through Friday really tore me up. So I have been debating on whether to actually take this new job or to stay at Connell where I love all the kids, teachers, and parents.

I've been thinking it over all day and talking to Tate and friends about it. I truly believe that the best thing for my family and myself is to continue working at Connell. A few things have happened today that I can't go in to full detail about until it actually goes through. If everything works out the way it is thought to then things should be pretty great.
